The power of music derives from the fact that:
It transcends the immediate
It is “meta”-physical
Like all thing “meta” it transports the hearer

Music with the words adds
the power of thought to the power of transport
(Connecting feeling & cognition)

Music as an art
Musicians are: dealers in hope, your merchandise is new horizons and you are dream merchants

Real musicians (not just signers or instrument players) are travel agents
Pilots, bus driver, taxi drivers – driver of vehicles transporting many people at one time

Musician are agents of change:
Attitudes
Ideas
Emotions

Secrets to the world’s greatest music - musicians
Great music does not come out of the mind but comes out of the human spirit
It is not something one does
It is not an external event
One can not split off the act of ministering from the person ministering

Therefore the development of the human spirit is an inescapable necessity in the creation and presentation of great music.

Great music is the spirit of the individual in action.
Ask yourself:
How authentic am I as a minister of music?
How deep & broad is the self I express as a minister music?
How much true value does my offering create?

The true force that attracts others is the force of the heart.

What is the core of World-class ministry?
The human spirit.

What is the greatest thing a minister can do?
Share the World-class spirit.

How do we share a World-class human spirit?
With gifts.

Name the core virtues of a World-class spirit?
Love, honesty, hope, purity

How do I give these to whom I minister?
By developing and freely exercising the gifts God has given you.
